Kirk Ballou, Captain
Kirk has 20 years of experience in software design and has been leading development teams and creating software for Fortune 500 companies for over a decade. His past clients include Red Bull, CNN, MTV, Microsoft, and National Geographic. Kirk has received multiple accolades throughout his career, including the Open Screen Fund from Adobe and Calling All Innovators by AT&T.
Al
Al has 10 years of experience in software development and 5 years in software architecture. He has been leading teams for 4 years and creating software for Telkom Indonesia, National Library of the Republic of Indonesia, and Keller Williams. Hobbies include traveling, photography, and chess.
Emiliano
Emiliano has over 10 years of dev experience and a multitude of projects under his belt. He has worked on Front End and Back End Development and now proudly leads a team spread out across the globe. Emiliano’s hobbies include music and video games (in that order).
Rahmat
Rahmat has 8 solid years in the web development field. Throughout his career, his #1 goal has always been to build a lasting system and develop applications that are easy to understand and maintain. In his free time, Rahmat loves playing Hearthstone.
Toopay
Toopay has 10+ years of strong experience in the Large Distribution Systems, specifically in Erlang, Microservice, GitOps, and Kubernetes with a Cloud Native approach.
Vikash
Vikash is a Scrum Master with more than 10 years of experience in web technologies, especially: Laravel, PHP, Golang, ASP.NET MVC, database design, and agile (Scrum) methodology.
Aika Special Teams
At Aika, we utilize specialized teams in order to provide our clients with the best service and product. Each team operates like their own SWAT unit – they are highly trained, work together efficiently, and have expert insight into their area of specialization. Through this team structure, we can make sure that the right team is working on the right project. This allows us to effectively execute on ideas and offer the highest quality product to our clients.
Tiger Team
The Tiger Team is prepared for anything. Like a large cat ready to pounce, this flex team works across multiple tasks and teams supporting skunkworks projects.
Special Ops
The Special Ops team is comprised of highly-skilled engineers who are uniquely equipped to handle specific projects – hence the team name. The Special Ops work with projects that integrate between services and require collaboration across multiple teams.
Dev Ops
The Dev Ops handle all backend infrastructure and make sure everything is running smoothly. They create deployment automation and scaling structure for applications, as well as analytics/reporting to monitor performance and mitigate issues within live sites.
Architecture
Meet the architects. This team is in charge of backend databases and mircoservices, building independently deployable applications that are totally scalable and flexible.
Front-end Development
The Front-End Developers design and manage everything a user sees and interacts with. They make sure your applications look good and are easy to use.
back-end Development
Back-End Development is all about getting everything to do what it’s supposed to do. Our Back-End Devs are code masters that make your applications function as designed.
